Hi everyone,

How are you? We’re doing fine, thanks for asking! We’ve been keeping busy recording a record of new songs, but more imminently we’ve got a new video that will be dropping on your head very soon. It’s gonna be for the MiniBoone song “Brand New Thing” from the On MiniBoone Mountain EP that we put out last year.

It has a Yeti in it, played by Pretty and Nice’s wonderful Roger Lussier. To whet you’re visual appetite, you can see him getting his make up on in this PREVIEW VIDEO from the website of the video’s intrepid Director/Madman Patrick Breen.

The full video should be assaulting your eyes sometime next month – stay tuned!

Hey Y’all

I’m looking at egg nog recipes, which must mean it’s almost time for the holiday spectacular at Fort Useless. We’re gonna be playing, Quiet Loudly is gonna be playing, EULA and Ball of Flame Shoot Fire will also be playing. It’s going to be great. I can’t promise snow, but I can promise:

- A low low $5 suggested donation that comes with a free drink
- Christmas musics both live and on tape
- Red
- Green
- An 8pm start time. Be punctual.
- A handsome sound man
- The opportunity to start the Christmas party season with a kah-bang!

In other news, week two of our residency at Pianos goes off this Thursday, and just for the hell of it we’ve decided to give everyone that shows up a free copy of the new EP. That’s right, $8 gets you in to an awesome show featuring us, Old Monk, Celestial Shore and Banned Books + an actual physical shrink wrapped copy of the our record. Come celebrate this momentous occasion with us – you have even fewer excuses than you ever did.

The nice people at Pianos have been nice enough to offer us the chance to play a residency at their nice venue this month. Do you know what that means? Well I’ll tell you. It means that every Thursday night this month (except Thanksgiving, which is a national holiday observed by MiniBoone, this year at least), you can come see us and other wonderful bands play at Pianos.
